list your top 3 favourite

also make sure they r a well known brand

1 being best

mine has to be

1.gretsch (i play classic rock acdc type sort of stuff ,riffs,70's 80's rock occasionally metal)
2.Epiphone (gibson gets no love as they overprice)
3.fender (not a huge fan for my type but they have better prices than gibson and still make great guitars)

and your 3 worst fav

1.dean (hate the shapes except for dean cadillac ,ugly headstock usually guitar too big)
2.bc rich (hate the shapes and made of crappy wood)
3. (cant think of anything yet)

Fender (Fit very well sitting on my lap, like another body part. Also, easiest guitar to mod.)
Ibanez (Played a few, loved all of them. Very nice necks. My only complaint is that the RG bodies are too pointy for my tastes, I prefer a nice S series body.
Epiphone (I own one, and I don't care how many peopel say it sucks, I love mine to death.)
Gear List:
'97 Gibson Explorer w/ Duncan SH-4 and SH-2
Fender Jazz Bass 'Crafted in Japan'
Yamaha Acoustic Guitar
Vox AD30VT w/ VFS2
Roland Cube 30 Bass
Modded "St. Louis" Wah
Dunlop .88 Tortex picks
#10
Fender Electrics
Maton Acoustics
PRS

No least favorites, but i can honestly say i am disappointed by Gibson, they look bad ass, but i don't like how back heavy they are and i have heard bad things about quality control

Sorry, but... no.

1) Mayones
2) Conklin
3) Agile (only for the Intrepid Pro eight-string)
Q: Favourite Pink Floyd song?
A: The one where they get wicked high and play Emin and A for an hour.
#15
1) Kramer
2) Epi
3) Ibanez

I've never played anything that cost over $500 that I actually liked. Except a Jackson Soloist...but it's still not my fav.

1) Dean
2) Squire
3) First Act - Why hasn't anyone said this?
#16
1) Fender, cheap quality guitars as well as expensive high end bad ass guitars
2) Schecter they just flat out rock
3) Ibanez nice thin speedy necks

Least favs

1) B.C rich never played one I like
2) Jackson detest their necks, and I think the headstocks look ridiculous
3) Goudin just don't like them

*Edit*

If I could have a fourth it would be Deans

1) Kramer
2) ESP
3) I have no third.

Kramer and ESP are the only brands where I go all "OH **** YES I GOTTA HAVE THAT" about every single guitar they make, even if other brands make similar guitars that I wouldn't touch with a 20' barge pole.

And I don't know why since I've never actually owned a Kramer or ESP and I've only gotten to test out a tiny handful of them.
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

Because they're toys, not guitars.

Richard Fortus says otherwise...That's not to say I don't agree with you...FA blows...entirely. I wanted to buy one just to smash it...but then I decided they weren't even worth that. If I wanted to smash a guitar, I'm going to smash something of higher value - Fender maybe? Not in disrespect. No...quite the contrary.

Always been a Strat guy and always loved Fender's but if you look at my sig the answer is pretty obvious

Liked

1.) Ibanez: I love these guitars, not so much the electronics though.
2.) Fender: Only the jaguar/mustang/jagstang guitars though. (somewhat teles)
3.) Gibson: Love em, but sooooo over priced.

Hated (more models then the brands)
1.) Strats, yeah i know probably the only one here but i hate strats with a passion.
2.) Dean i've just never played any good ones? =[
3.) None?

My favorite guitar brand would be Schecter because of my Omen 6 I got for my birthday

My other 2 well liked brands are Ibanez and Jackson, They are probably the most comfortable guitars to play other than Schecter. (comfort is a must)

As for least liked ... B.C. Rich, Epiphone (feel ew to play) and the worst brand of guitars of all time ... Ashton (I have one and I intend to make it the most badass mutant guitar ever as well I don't need to keep any of the parts on it even if they did work)
Prog flavored juice ... You tried it yet?

Shameless plot to promote zee band.

The only brand that jumps out at me as must haves is Kramer. I'm open to trying others but nothing beats a classic 80s superstrat.
#30
ESP
Ibanez
.....ummmm Jackson?

Funilly enough I only ever play shreddy guitars, but I don't shred
#31
my favourite make is Fender.
My Fenders neck is the most comfortable neck I have ever played, and the sound is just amazing.
Fender all the way.
I want a Schecter one day though.

Fender

The strat is tecnically perfect and the design is still in style

1.) Strats, yeah i know probably the only one here but i hate strats with a passion.

Similarly, I'm probably the only one here who can't stand Gibson guitars.

Other not-liked brands include:

1) First Act (obvious)
2) B.C. Rich (ever seen a Bich fall apart in a player's hands? I have!)
3) Gibson (due to some marketing practices I don't agree with, and how utterly generic the "Les Paul-through-a-Marshall" sound is getting. That, and the only times I ever played a Les Paul, I was able to get a better tone out of my $200 Peavey. Two different LPs and two different amps.)
4) Those countless brands that put out one or two really cheap Strat knock-offs.

As far as Strat knock-offs go, there are only two that I would willingly spend money on:

Peavey Raptor (own one, and it is a solid, decent guitar for a budget model)
Yamaha Pacifica (especially some of the more high-end models with locking tuners and graphite nuts)

I've heard that Tokai Strat knock-offs are almost as good as the real deal, but I've never actually played one.
Q: Favourite Pink Floyd song?
A: The one where they get wicked high and play Emin and A for an hour.

Favorites:
Ibanez (hands down my favorite brand)
Agile (great guitars for the cash)
Schecter or ESP/LTD (I like a few of each of their guitars, mainly an Ibanez guy)

Least Favorite:
Gibson (WAY too overpriced imo)
Fender (never been a strat guy...but I like some of their basses)
Epiphone (because Agiles blow them away for less dough)
#36
i don't really have a favourite brand as such but this is the order in what brand i find myself playing the most:

Fender and Epiphone seem to be on level ground
Ibanez
I guess fret-king will have to be included too, as once i've paid for my Esprit 3 i will be playing it A LOT.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
