What do you mean? Are you afraid the X-box might get harmed or the bass amp?

xbox, i know its a stupid question but putting it on the bass amp seems most logical as its nearest to the television.

given the fact that xboxs' seem to break themselves simply by being on. I'd say its safe to assume a bass amp may damage it somehow.
Grammar and spelling omitted as an exercise for the reader.

I would move your amp away from your TV - amp = big magnetics = shorter life for tv

The amp might catch RRoD. So put a condom on the Xbox.

You aren't supposed to move an Xbox when it's turned on, so I would advise against it.

If it is an original Xbox, sure, the things are built like trucks, they won't break.

If it is an xbox 360: hell no, the vibrations from your voice will probably break it eventually, so I wouldn't put it on a bass amp.

Chances are it'll break even if you don't put it on the amp so it doesn't matter anyway.

Regular xbox or 360? I dropped my Xbox, from like the second year they were being made, down a set of stairs and it still works just fine. But as has been said, 360s just kinda break themselves.

+1

My Xbox feels (and looks) like it is meant as some sort of GPS device for soldiers stationed in Bagdad.

My 360 feels like a light breeze could break it.
#21
DO NOT.

It will scratch the disk, whether it is off or not. The 360 disk drive is very very sensitive.
Any spelling or grammatical errors written above are because of my inferior brain to yours. Good job, you won life.

Read the instructions for any electric device "Do not subject to undue vibration"

So don't do it, move stuff around.
#23
If it's a 360, the vibrations might wreck your discs... also, heat from the amp = more RRoD

The 360 being a 360 is what will break it.

Perhaps you should place it under the rear tire of your car?

I once had my xbox in my backpack and i slipped on ice. The xbox has a huge, deep dent in it, but it still works fine.
