i couldn't decide whether to post a thread now or save up for longer, so i came up with this ingenious idea! what amp would be best for me in different price ranges.
the lead tones i want:
Necrophagist' Muenzer's lead tone e.g. the solo in Diminished to Be or Stabwound;
Michael Angelo Batio's shred tone in the Hands Without Shadows Album

the rhythm tones i want:
similar to the rhythm tones in any King Diamond album
enough gain for technical death metal.

the cleans have to be clean at a low volume.

specs:
at least 2 channels, pref 3+
(preferably) plenty of reverb
212 combo or head and 212 cab
useable in gigs and bedroom volumes
must be valve

if you could put an amp from £200-£300, £301- £400 or £401-£800 with their price that would be great, ask questions if you want.

I will try every amp that is suggested aslong as it is sold in the UK somewhere.

High gain tube, in your price range, is likely to be a Peavey. Go try them out, lots of metal bands use them.

ive tried the dsl401, and it wasnt smooth enough on the higain channel, and the other channels didnt have enough gain, the valveking i tried was pretty similar tbh, thanks for suggestions though!
ive tried the peavey 6505/+ jsx and xxx, the xxx sounded almost perfect but was discontinued and sold, the jsx lacked reverb and was abit too agressive.
