The only way I can think of would be to use a drum sander

everything else will just rip it up.

Why would you want it paper thin? Won't it look and handle better if its a bit thicker?
#5
veneers are already thin, just put it on as is.

If its a carved top I don't think it'll work however thin it is....
#7
^ it wont go over a carve, it can only bend at one axis, not 2+

The carved top is not very curvy i put a piece of thick paper on the guitars top and it fits perfectly, so im going to try it

Side to side yes, but what about bending it down towards the bottom, after its been bent across the top?

Never 'gonna happen.

you can't do it unless you plane your LP down so its flat then buy a real thick top/ cap and recarve it

Did you have the piece of paper right against the body when you tested it? Cos that looks like its carved on more than one axis, which means you're likely to get creases or bubbles or both if you try and make a laminate fit over the top of it....you might want to try that piece of paper again and check if it fits when it is fully in contact with the body....

Aint gunna happen.

ve·neer (v-nîr)
n.
1. A thin surface layer, as of finely grained wood, glued to a base of inferior material.

it's already thin. making it thinner will not accomplish what you want to do. neither would it last through any sanding.
