I recently bought a used Epiphone AlleyKat and the toggle switch seems to be going out on me but I'm not totally sure (I'm pretty sure its the original and I've heard the Epiphone ones are poor quality). Sometimes when I put the guitar on treble you can barely hear the guitar but the middle and rhythm position work just fine. To get the sound back I just alternate the toggle back and forth between the rhythm and treble and then it works fine. It seems to work fine most of the time but it can be really annoying. I'm just asking if its the toggle switch or something else like a loose wiring or a problem with that particular pickup. Any help would be great. Thanks

get a can of compressed air. blow it in the switch while flicking.

should clear it up. if not then flip it over see if the wires are still connected.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
