Perhaps I'll look into some of these later, but what the hell is True metal?

Dantesco is the only one on that list I really care for. Great band, sometimes weird vocals though.

Yeah, I knew I saw that! When I was glancing over the post I thought I saw "True Metal", then I did a double take and couldn't find it, so I assumed I imagined/misread it...

It didn't seem possible, but apparently Messiah can spam even more now.

He probably means Heavy Metal.

^What does MA stand for?

They label themselves as True Metal. To me they're more of a traditional Heavy Metal style. Note the bluesy touch on some of the solos.

My favorite track from them would be "Ulises", the middle part is just amazing! Their debut album is coming out this summer btw.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Keep it coming!

Metal Archives. Them not having physical material out would explain their absence from it. They sound very similar to most of the Brazilian Power metal scene to me. Still great stuff, but won't top Dantesco.

cool, never heard of any of these, but after looking them up I'm really liking Dantesco a lot.

Oh ok I get it now, thanks. It's to see you're all hooked up on Dantesco. They're actually one of the most renown bands here. They've played around Europe already! And that's saying something, we're a puny island. They even played as an opening act when Judas Priest came down here! 'Twas epic...

They have two records out already, De La Mano de La Muerte (Hands in Hands With Death or something like that....I tried....) and Pagáno (Pagan.....duh.....).

They're currently working on their third album now, We Don't Fear Your God. They changed to English for it was the only thing the new record company they signed with asked for. But it's still quality Dantesco. I really don't like the title that much, it's kindaaaa...Idk....I daresay childish in some way. But the artwork is epic!

Yeah, Puya is from Puerto Rico but they disbanded a few years ago. If I'm not mistaken, the bassist formed Ankla, reeeeeally heavy stuff there.

About Puya's genre....I can't really say, it leaned more towards a hardcore edge, but it's not the one we always associate that genre with. Gah... just check 'em and work it out! I didn't listen to them much, back then I was still to get into t3h br00talz m3t4lz.

De La Mano de La Muerte

De la Mano de la Muerte significa 'From The Hand Of Death'. Todavia no he escuchado a la musica; la escuchare a la manana despues de trabajar.

Ademas, bienvenido al forum.

I love Dantesco, so Goddamn epic

I seriously lol when I listen to them half the time. Still great.

Strangehold - Yes they WERE a thrash band, but they are no longer active

Matt - Carnal Devourment signed a record deal a couple of weeks ago, so expect more out of that! Btw, they played last Saturday, amazing setlist, the guys are really into it! Also, they covered Amon Amarth's The Pursuit of Vikings that night.....twas epic.....windmill headbanguing ensued....heavily....

diminished - Their new album's gonna be in english, although I find it weirder for them to be in english than in spanish

Btw, those who like Dantesco, take a listen to Narval and Solvo Animus. Dantesco's singer is involved in that proyect as well as Luis Vila, Sacrilegio's singer. (Btw...he's also the singer in my band, but we haven' recorded anything, I'll let you guys know as soon as the stuff is done )

I like the Spanish vocals, it sounds like an Opera (apart from the falsettos, and the fact all the operas i've evr heard of are italian)

He digs all that stuff Anyway guys, what about the other bands? Give 'em a try, I know Dantesco is amazing (they're one of my favorites too) but may I suggest Aura Azul, Athaxia, Errant Society or Sacred Guardian? Just to name a few....

Butt - Well they're quite the veterans, all of them are highly experienced muscicians, that kinda helps...

Powerslave - The guys in Sacred Guardian are currently working on their debut album. They have a 3-song demo out on the streets, I think all of the songs are available on myspace (Knights of The Moonlight, Sacred Guardian and Ulises, my favorite one btw)

Bumping and double posting is not advisable...

Especially since you've done it 4/5 times with a triple post.

Oh ok, thanks bro, I thought that the time distance between the posts made it not count as double, triple whatever posting. But thanks again!

Hermetica is nice, specially the song about Menem, it's just too good.
Together with Amon Amarth and COB, it's the only Death band I like.

Btw, i got accepted in Athaxia a couple of weeks ago. I will post pics! We're gonna be one of Exodus' opening acts on the 20th, among us are gonna be Sacrilegio, Pit Fight Demolition, Blokke and um...idk who else. But yes, I'm really excited about this, check us out if you have the chance!
