That is really simple if you would have seen what I used to use it was amazingly complicated. But I was younger then and felt the need to have a huge rack and 3 amps. Now I run almost a beginners rig. Funny how you go back to the basics after all those years.

I always take all my gear (except for the 2 bandits on the left, between the music man and the peavey) so on stage, it looks pretty much like this:

Making babies is easier than making money

I do plan on getting a proper soloist someday, have done since I had a go on my mate's old one a while back, but I have other things I want to buy first. And used prices in England are unpredictable with the current economic shenanigans. I can't really complain about my jap Jackson for now.

Ooh, you are living in the EU. Well, i got mine for 1500€ used, which is about the correct 2nd hand price for a flamed top soloist in perfect condition. It's 800€ under the new price, so I'm happy.

And damn, you are right, making babies IS easy. I never realised it. The woman does all the work till birth, and afterwards you get a great guitar for it. No poopy pants to clean out, no sleepless nights, still all the freedom of being childless...

Heck, I might make a child right now

Currently, I'm not gigging/in a band, but my jam rig has pretty much always been my practice rig too, lol. But anywho, I'm using..

Mesa Boogie F-50 head
Custom built 2x12 cabinet.
Some little portable Vox amp (not sure of the model name, but it's a pretty rad little practice amp the guy threw in w/the F-50 )

Gibson Explorer w/EMG 81/60 (EMG's to be removed soon)
Jackson DK2M Dinky
Agile Ghost 7-string

Dunlop Crybaby From Hell

I'm kind of GASing for some new effect pedals and pickups, but it'll have to wait, as I've just recently ordered some recording equipment.
- Gibson Flying V 120 #1 (White)
- Gibson Flying V 120 #2 (Cherry)
- Gibson SG Standard ('61 style)
- Jackson DK2M

- ENGL Fireball 60
- Avatar 4x12

- Many pedals, plus other stuff

Depends what & where I'm playing, but my favorite rig is my Mojave Scorpion cranked into a Palmer PDI03 load box, & the Scorpion re-amped into a power amp, w/ a Lexicon reverb between the amps. OCD, phase 90, MXR vintage flanger, & Boss DD3 in front of Scorpion.
Guitars, either a Gibson V w/ Mojave Amp Works pickup (when playing blues gigs), or my trusty Jackson Performer w/ Holmes 455 bridge pickup (to play VH covers).
Pics in profile.

I'm feeling adventurous, so here's my rig and my co-guitarist's rig.

My Rig

Guitars
Fender '03 MIM Strat (modded a bit, not too much though)
Samick acoustic *mic'd* (tiny body, kinda high action; has a great acoustic slide sound)
Regular acoustics vary between an early '80s Yamaha FG350 or an '80s Sigma (used to be a Martin subsidiary)
Sometimes I'll break out my old Fernandes acoustic electric for semi-hollow sounds, or slide playing

Amps
Crate Palomino (with Boss RC20 in the loop which acts as a master volume)

Signal Chain (pedals)
Strat -> Dunlop 535Q -> Boss Phase Shifter -> Digitech Bad Monkey -> BBE Boosta Grande -> Amp (RC-20 in loop)

James's Rig

Guitars
Fender Deluxe Player's Strat (the one with the mid boost)
Some really, really old acoustic that's going to be replaced soon (it's got a massive crack running right down the middle, so... yeah )
Trusty old Ibanez as backup

Amp
Fender Hot Rod

Signal Path
Boss Blues Driver

James's rig is a lot simpler than mine, but he just got rid of his FM212 and Digitech *insert the first run of their massive mfx units here*, so he's in the process of building up his new, giggable rig.

My amps are a bit sucky compared to mesa rectifiers but I thought I'd join in...

Guitars:
Fender 70's reissue mex strat
Fender 2003 Competition Mustang (Japan)
Fender USA ash Tele standard
Fender Squire Jagmaster
Epiphone Les Paul custom (black&gold)
PRS Santana SE with vibrato tailpiece
SX Strat copy with custom very hot bridge and middle pu's ( i fiddled with the coils a bit) and and a fishman acoustic pu in neck - sounds incredibly weird but in a cool way
Epiphone SG Special (crap - I never use it)

Amps:
Peavey bandit 112 100w combo
Fender FM100H

Cabs:
Fender FM412 Slant

Effects: ... I like boss
Boss pedal board/case holding -
Boss pw-10 V-WAH
Boss ch-1 super chorus
Boss dd-2 digital delay
Planet waves chromatic pedal tuner
Marshall regenerator
ISP Decimator noise reduction

Before the pedal board I run these-
Boss bf-3 flanger
Boss bd-2 blues driver
Boss ds-2 distortion with a boss fs-5l to switch turbo on/off

I us Jim Dunlop tortex picks (hard) and d'addario 10's just in case you're interested
