Hi,

Is it possible to make Reaper Render the MIDI files in the project to an mp3?

Thanks,

Yes it is. If you check my profile the first song (which is not finished, by the way) features a lot of midi stuff. Hell, it is all midi except the bells and thunder samples. It is best if you get a VST or VSTi which will make the midi into acceptible sound. You can then go to file (I believe) and hit render. Change the specs so it says mp3. Should be alright. If you need any help you can let me know.

Do you mean I need a Plugin in any case or would it just make the midi sound different?
Because actually i want the very original midi sound ^^

Well, in order to get the midi to play a sound in reaper you are going to need some sort of plugin. As far as I am aware, you can not get the same sound from a program like Guitar Pro or Powertab. You may be able to find something similar, though. I know there are VSTs for a wide range of sounds and instruments. I have seen many free ones for guitars, synths, chiors, orchestras, and such.
