Hi. I have a Squier Strat SE. As i progress, I feel as it's time for change. I just got a new amp, Vox VT30. I won't be gigging anytime soon, and I've been playing for about a year and a half. Im looking for a guitar that does great cleans, I love me a warm sound. I also like some classic rock. My budget would be about $300 roughly. Any recommendations? I was looking at a MIM strat, or possible a MIM tele.

I feel bad looking at porn simply because of the ol' story that a lot of those girls were molested as children, But I've never heard of midgets being molested, so it doesn't matter to me anymore, as that's the only kind of porn I watch.

I would say a strat would be a pretty good choice. Maybe in an HSS config so you classic rock'll come through better. Strats are relatively bright, not as bright as the tele, and maybe you'll want to look into second hand higher end/american models, rather than going MIM/ Maybe that budget won't stretch -quite- that far though.

Do you feel warm within your cage?

And have you figured out yet -

Hagstrom offers some pretty good guitars at a pretty reasonable price, but the MIM strat will probably do the job, too.

My first guitar was an awful Bradley strat copy, then about a year later I got a MIM with HSS configuration. I was very happy with it, and used that guitar for a very long time. I modified the crap out of it with Seymour Duncan pickups.
