At first I thought it was my guitar cable, but I brought a brand new, awesome cable and this problem is still occuring! Now I think my cable jack inside the guitar is just loose. How can I fix this?

Take the jack off the guitar and make sure all of the wires are properly soldered to the jack and do the same with the input jack on the amp - sounds like there is a bad connection on one of those.

Had the same problem..

unscrew the input jack, there should be two wires, if ones loose you can solder it back on to its respective place, or if your a douche with soldering like me, you could user some electrical insulation tape

Is this safe to do by myself or should I take it to a shop?
