Hey
I'm getting a 1x10 combo soon, and I want to add a 1x12 cabinet to it because I think it's sounding a bit boxy/trebley.

Will the 1x12 help sound a bit more bassey or will it not help? And will it help it seem louder at all like a 2x12 or 4x12 does??? (I don't want a 2x12 or a 4x12 because it's a bit too pricey for me).

So can you help me? I will appreciate any help.

Please reply!!!

I would just get the HT-5 head and a 1x12 or 2x12 cab.

edit: and check out avatar speaker cabinets

If by "clean" you mean "get a finger right up in there and do a good bit of spelunking" then i guess "at any given opportunity" is my answer.

Depends on the speaker and the cab. My 1x12 open back cab sounds very different than my 1x10 closed back cab.
