I was wondering what you all think of the FM412. I'm thinking of getting one so I don't have to sell my Blues Junior to get a cab for my head because I want the Blues Junior for when I like need an amp at school and such. So what do you think of the Fm412 and what do you think it sounds like with a good tube head?

I don't understand why you would have to sell your blues junior to get a cab?

Let's say about 200-300 and if I have to sell my BJ then around 500.

go avatar, don't get the FM. some people don't realize that the speakers have an equal impact on your tone as does your amp...so a nice ass amp through sh*t speakers will sound pretty nasty...

save up more until you can get a nice 2x12 from avatar or something!

Just get it, and if you're not happy save some and swap the speakers.

It's quite solid, so you don't have to worry about it breaking on you.

I actually found a Marshall 1966A 2x12 cab for the same price, and feel it might be better. Opinions?

I think it has 8 Ohm's though. My head is 4 Ohm's. Will I blow up speakers?

now. It would blow you transformator if your head would be 8 and the cab only 4. but as long as the cab has more than the head you are one the safe site.
