ok so i have this sold state head and this really old 2x15 speaker cabinet

when i plug it in it makes horrible buzzing sounds and i tootally freaked out
and noticed
that when my hand touches the cable(the metal part) and the bottom of the head(metal part too) it stops!

help me fin a solyution plz!

oh forgot to mention its a mg head -_- not mine but im freaking out cous hes goin to blame me that it broke!

how do i shield mate?
yes i know its not that bad, but it aint good either.
i only use my acoustic control valve head, but i need new valves so i borrowed this.

Go there. Same basic principle with an amp. Just basically 'encase' the amp guts in metal. 3 layers of household aluminum foil will work great.

oh mate i opened the case and a cable right next to the plug was unplugged so i put it back in and the problem stopped
