Neil Young covering The Beatles' A Day In the Life.

And

Pearl Jam covering The Who's Baba O'Riley

Both really awesome.

Video wise, I would say Jeff Beck's cover of A Day in the Life and Clapton's band playing Harrison's Isn't It a Pity

I really like Nirvana's version of Man Who Sold The World.

I like their cover of Where Did You Sleep Last Night much better, although that one is really good to. Honestly, I think that MTV Unplugged album is the reason I started playing guitar. haha

Why not?

I haven't seen many bands play cover songs live, and I enjoyed it.

Metallica doing Bob Seger's Turn the Page a week ago was quite brilliant. Never thought I'd hear that one live, though I'm very glad I did.

When I saw 'em they didn't play Creeping Death.

They did the time before though. And they did play Judas Kiss, which was freaking sweet.

Yeah, Turn the Page was fracking beautiful. They played it slightly faster than the studio version, though, which was a little interesting. xD That Saturday is one I'll always remember with fondness... Though they didn't play Creeping Death or Horsemen. Whatever, it kicked ass anyway. I got to hear Harvester live, which is something I've wanted to do ever since I heard Live **** for the first time.

Also, Alter Bridge played something at the Stockholm Arena in December, I've no idea what it was... but I'm pretty sure it was a cover and it was quite good.

The Nottingham one on 25th Feb.

Azrei, they played Horsemen at mine, it was immense. Loved it 'cos that's one of my favourite songs to play!
