Ok, so i am going to start trying to learn how to play tears in heaven-Clapton, anybody have any advice as to where to start? any advice on how long it will take me to learn to play it? so i can set a reasonible goal and time frame in which to learn it?

i think just take it at your own pace. but just letting u know the bridge is gonna take the longest to learn and is definitely the hardest part of the song. have fun with it.

Yea man, i listened to it for the first time today...never really listened to clapton...then i sampled his unplugged cd and fell in love w/ it, love the playing style and the music haha...hope to be able to learn alot more of his stuff...

my advice is learn how to play it slow first at the right tempo. you must first learn how to play slow in order to play fast. otherwise you will develop bad technique

i found it helpful to watch some of his videos to see how he fingered the chords. gotta love the song though, its one of my favorites by him
