Hey guys, I am wondering, can I get a tone at least somewhat near to how Carlos Santana sounds?

Yeah your DS1 and Squier Strat should get you really close

Not really...

Carlos's signature tone comes from humbucker-equipped guitars.
The DS1 is fizzy and harsh sounding, Carlos's tone is smooth and full.
And when it comes to amps... Even though the vypyr is a great practice amp, it still won't get you an accurate santana tone.

Well obviously I wasnt being serious.

I really think the Santana tone is the whole PRS/Dumble Overdrive Special tone, its really hard to emulate... I think the Vypyr and a decent full-bodied fuzz would get you somewhere close
