i am most probably going to be buying an NS2 in the very near future. unlike most other noise gates/supressors/debuggers .... it has input/output AND send/return

what connects to what, guitar into input then output to amp?

send return sounds like a loop of some sort???

how come this is the only pedal that has this setup (or are there others?)

cheers!

Send - Input

Return - Output

That is for the effects loop, which I dont know if you amp has.

If you running just straight into the input of the amp, connect your guitar to the input, and the output goes the amp input.

Actually its an effects loop in itself. Guitar>input and output>amp. You have the option of running your other pedals through the loop.

Example:
Adam D. from Killswitch Engage
Guitar>input/output>amp
Send>input of Maxon OD808/output of Maxon OD808>return

Yes, but thats just another option. If you have delay and everything, you dont put that infront of the amp if your using dirt at all. He has a pedalboard, so I would hope he puts in the FX loop.
