hey, im using cubase SX 3
im struggling to get any sound inputted to be picked up
im currently going straight from my guitar into the line in of my computer
is there any setting i should be using for this, or do i need to purchase a mixer or something?

any help

check the device setup to see what device you're using, also check vst connections and also check the audio channel input

its alright, when i started the project i chose mono rather than stereo all is good

The giveaway is that someone is using software that was replaced by an update two years ago, but still doesn't know how to use it.

I mean, it's not like you don't have any money....In fact, for £600, you could have bought the brand new version of Cubase 5 and still had enough money left over for an interface.
