its up and down just like aq 3 way selectoer switch. when its in humbucker then, should it be getting a little fuzz/noise?

You should be able to tell just be listening when you are playing and not playing. When it's in single coil mode it will buzz more and be of a slightly lower output.

On my DC-127 i believe up is humbucker and down is single coil. and that's coil splitting not coil switching.

Should have the 3 way switch for pickups, which has nothing to do with coilsplit.

You also should have a switch next to the tone knob which when up is humbucker and down single coil.
