hey hey hey! i got cash. round 600-700 right now, but theres more to come.
i gig/record. looking for a mid-gain stratty tone. need to be able to hi-gain and killer cleans aswell. current set-up is below...so, if i want to have access to a matthew good, RHCP gain kinda tone (think voxy, fendery kind tone) what should i buy?!
1- new amp. sell that tsl, look into something of higher quality. maybe that framus cobra that you saw for 1500 CAD would due. multi channel, and besides you can use your volume puts to roll of gain if needed!
2-p/ups for the LP. your current pups kind blow. get something like a ducan distortion in the bridge for hi-gain, and put a 59 with a push-push pot in the neck for split coil sounds, on the crunch channel! duh! and then save up a little more and get a wireless with the extra cash.after all, you can highly benefit your bands live show by doing that
3- just get a strat dickweed. u want strat-ish tone, buy a strat. even the american ones go fairly cheap.

opinions? suggestions?
metallica/megadeth/dimmu meets matt good and RHCP with solid cleans.

Looks to me like you need 2 different rigs for each type of sound your going for but your not gonna be able to get a true Strat sound with out an actual Strat, You can get a Vox AC15 and a Highway One Strat if you stretch budget a little

upon looking at reviews..perhaps not. seems to not have excellent customer service and lack somewhat in tone (depending on which review)
