Hey guys, I've had a Yamaha C-40 for 3 years now, and haven't once shown it the love it deserves as a guitar. The strings finish if worn down and the neck hasn't gotten a loving polish with lemon oil. ever.

I know that removing all the strings off an electric/bass can cause neck bowing, is that the same with classicals? I'm thinking of buying brand new strings (They hold tune still, but to be honest, I forget how it originally sounded so I can't judge sound quality), will taking them off all at once cause irreparable harm?

While I have the strings off I'm going to treat the fretboard with lemon oil, any sort of special treatment for the rest of the guitar? I'm thinking a wipe down with a wooden surface cleaner, like Pledge, but does it need any sort of other preparation?
