I bought an used ENGL Screamer 50 combo, and while swapping tubes I noticed that the speaker was not the Celestion Vintage 30 as stated in the manual and the ENGL's web site. It's also Celestion, but the model is V12-80 Silver Edition. I have searched the net and I have noticed that there are more Screamers with this kind of speaker. Is that characteristic for a certain series of that amps? I am the third owner of the amp I have and it is 4 years old I believe. Do you have any info on that?
yeah, a while back they changed from your speaker to the v30.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
