In the market for a new bass amp, something that will boom over my drummer and be at least passable at shows.

So far I like the Marshall MB150, just becuase the price per watt is awesome, but I'm not bent on any one in particular.

Feedback appreciated.

Edit: Bass isn't my main focus, I'm just doing a side project. I'm not willing to save more cash to throw at a bass amp. Thnx.

From what I've heard of Marshalls, they only sound good with higher amounts of distortion.

I would say Ampeg BA-115. It's a bit over 500 but it's well worth it.
Only play what you hear. If you don’t hear anything, don’t play anything.

I'm actually doing a side project with the bass, my money goes to my guitar gear TBH.

Your comment is noted though, but in this scenerio it doesnt apply. Let me edit the first post...

The Ampeg might be worth the extra coin, I hear good things about Ampeg equipment, its only a buck fifty more too. Thnx.

Edit: ****, I just found the BA-115 for $379!!!
