So I just got my first halfstack which is a Crate GX-130c with a 4 x 12 cab.
Problem is when I try and use my boss ds-1 pedal it works but I can't adjust the volume. It only sounds about 1/4 the volume if that.

I tried turning every knob on both the head and pedal, but the volume doesn't change.

Now I'm not 100% sure if i have it hooked up right but I have the guitar to the pedal and the pedal to the effects loop send input.

Anyone have the same problem or I'm I just missing something here?

Thanks

Well... the only 2 ways it can work are:
1. guitar>pedal>amp input.
2. guitar>amp input and effects loop out>pedal>effects loop in

it mustnt go guitar>pedal>fx loop.
you either go Guitar>pedal>input or
guitar>amp and pedal>fx loop.

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

Now that makes too much sense.
Works perfect now.
Thanks a lot for the ridiculous quick response.

One more quick one.
I have two inputs one is -6db and the other is 0db.
Whats the difference?

I really need to find a manual for this thing...
