I'm curious to see what people think are the most disappointing. Personally, Lamb of God's Wrath and Children of Bodom's Blooddrunk are a couple major disappointments

Personally, Zeitgeist.

Thought Corgan was finally over whatever awful bug he caught when Machina came out.

I don't know about most disappointing of all time, but Coheed and Cambria let me down with their last album and STP really started to lose it after 4 was released in my opinion.

SO why did you buy it, if it wasn't your taste? it's not a whole lot different to their other albums....

Chinese Democracy.

I mean come on.

I was never (ever) a huge Guns n Roses fan but to wait 10 years for that piece of crap was sort of a letdown.

I'd agree with Wrath....a few good songs on their but....meh. Also ..i'm a big Metallica fan, but Death Magnetic. was kind of disappointing. I really do enjoy St. Anger though...some of their best lyrics to date.

Definately Death Magnetic and Liberation Transmission.

But i disagree with Wrath, I think it's an awesome album. Better than Sacrament.

I liked Blooddrunk, Wrath sort of lost the anger that their previous albums contained.
Deathmagnetic sucked

Death Magnetic and Chinese Democracy. Both licked donkey balls. There is some wicked guitar playing on Chinese Democracy, but that's about all it was good for.
Now officially has too much gear to list

couple problems there my friend.
Blooddrunk
wrath
and anything ACDC has put out are all good(blood drunk was a little iffy)
you cant argue about AC/DC their career speaks for itself
and trivium has always blown ass.

and yes chinese democracy blew some major donkey cack, 10 years for that?
id rather shoot myself in the foot with a bolo shell.

you don't really understand the point of this thread do you? Disappointing means that you were expecting a great album, but got something a lot worse than what you hoped for. If you hate everything that AC/DC has ever put out, then you can't have been expecting album number 15 to suddenly be excellent. Bands just don't do that.

Anyway, my disappointment albums are:
All Hope Is Gone - Slipknot
Era Vulgaris - Queens Of The Stone Age
Hovercraft Falcon 100 "La Dama del Solaris"
ESP LTD Phoenix-1000
Epiphone Les Paul Custom Silverburst

The Secret Machines newest, I hoped the new guitarist would fill in well, but he didnt, a solid effort though.

And I love Be Here Now, its completly over the top kickass

"blooddrunk" was really disappointing. "death magnetic" was more disappointing than "st. anger" in my opinion. coheed and cambria really fell off the map for me.
