Need to change one of the pots as it's broken. They say on them that they're 38k, but someone mentioned to me that I should use 500k ones to go with my humbucker. Just wondering if I change the broken one from 38k to 500k, would I need to change the other pot to 500k aswell?

Look again. 38k seems highly unlikely.

Yeah I rewired my guitar about 6 months ago and I bought 500k pots and a .38 capacitor for humbuckers

EDIT: Scratch that, I used a .22 capacitor, so this could be different but I bet its the still the same situation.

Yeh, it's 500k, there's solder on the pots, had to remove some of it to see. So I guess that answers my question then, I'll leave the other in as it's 500k anyway lol.
