I've started jamming in school and realised, even beforehand, that their amps are for the classical greasy kids in my school. After confirming this I realised that if i'm gonna to this more i'm gonna need a sweet pedal.

Can you give me recomendations for metal tones? (Most prefer the BFMV tone and maybe a pedal with some nice heavy-ness :P )

price race = £100.

**** that. Don't go electronic modeling all the way.

Silver Dragon, things like that.

Tube distortion is the way to go for bleeding leads and crushing rhythms, dood.

I'd throw a Marshall MG at him while he succumbs to tone killing gain.

Spend all $200 on M&M's, then find a friend with an acoustic, and fill the body with them. Why? Because you can.

Digitech Df-7 Distortion Factory
my only good pedal, it has 7 different distortion pedals packed into one ranging from overdrive to daaammmmnnnn......
its models are as follows

Ibanez TS-9(Sweet for light gain/blues)
DoD preamp/overdrive 250(nice 70s tone)
ProCo RAT(i like it for classic rock)
Boss DS-1(i like it for solos)
Boss Metal Zone(My workhorse setting for most heavy tones)
Digitech Metal master (i think this one sucks)
Electro-Harmonix Big Muff(sustain, sustain, sustain)
Oh yeah it costs $100 in U.S cash so its like 50€ for you(??)

it's weird how the <3 seems to be the international call of distress for bad advice. hmmm.

to the dude that recommended the DF-7...how exactly is the EURO the same as the GBP? Hmmm.

OP: if you're using bad-ish amps, I'd suggest that you do something like a Digitech Hardwire Metal. Surprisingly good, all things considered...

I agree with the Metal Core. If you put it through a decent amp, you can get a good range of tones.

We could help more if you could tell us what kind of amps they are.

try the Cool cat metal. it's actually really good for the price.
