Eight days ago while catching up on Mosrite knowledge I came across a video on youtube. it demonstrated the use of a Trem King tremolo system. The video I linked to is not the one I first saw however I thought this was a better example.

It impressed me so after some research I found some Tradition guitars make use of this Tremolo. Yesterday I played a Tradition with a Trem King and it was everything the video described - Strings don't go out of tune after use of the tremolo, Only the strings you strum vibrate after use of it and you can even use this in the opposite way. Instead of giving them relief you can actually pull on the strings, Making them go up in tune!

As for the Tradition guitar which used the trem, It was a Telecaster copy. It had a Mahogany body, A Single coil at the bridge and a humbucker at the neck.

However this particular guitar has an interesting feature besides the bridge - You can "split" the humbucker making it sound like a single coil! I'd say that it is everything you can expect out of a Telecaster solid body guitar. Personally, I didn't like the sound (Too fat for my tastes, I prefer semi hollow teles for a chirpier sound) But for $619 or less I'd say it is a very good guitar for the price.

this is absolutely, 100% correct.
For example, Dave Mustaine has a signature coffee mix.

I'm sure you could get a Trem King installed. As long as it is a Strat style tremolo you should be good to go.

Also, if you guys have any question about Trem Kings, PM the UG member Skeet UK, he knows everything about them.
They're fantastic. I'm buying one to install on the guitar I'm building.
And Metlhead443, if you get the TK-1, it should install fairly easy with some minor routing. If you're unsure about doing the routing yourself, have a luthier/guitar tech who can do it to do it.
it's all just coming back
it's all coming back

it's all coming back to me
