Does anyone know where I can find some blues recordings without any bass in them so I can practice somethings I want to try out. Thanks if you can help!

put your any song through a 3-band eq and remove all the bass. that usually works well.

problem with doing that for blues though is that relatively frequently (depending on the singer of course) the vocals will occupy the bass range as well. Also I would use a shelving EQ or a high pass filter and not a 3 band EQ.

The Jamey Abersold stuff, while mostly jazz, does have some blues available. Most music stores that carry sheet music will have it. Jazz education curriculum.

I think Alfred Pub has a few methods that specifically do that. The CD will have 2 versions, 1 with bass, 1 without.

Good luck
