What kind of tubes does this amp use?
It says on musicians friend: 1xECC83 and 1x12BH7. But an ECC83 is a preamp tube (same as 12AX7) and I've never heard of 12BH7 tubes, which also sounds similar to the common 12AX7 preamp tubes. I always thought it was tube, but is it a hybrid or something?

A 12BH7 is similar to a 12AU7, handles higher power well. Blackstar uses it the 12BH7 in push/pull for low output. I think they used to be used in old tv's.
