Ok guys my friend at school broke his phone in a fit of anger(literally exploded) so i swapped my old w800i with a broke camera for His Epiphone Dot. I'd been thinking about getting one for a while so i took up this offer. One small catch though, the headstock has snapped off so im going to reglue it. Other than the headstock this guitar is in perfect condition. pics will be up soon

Good luck. Should be a nice guitar when you're through.

It's called the bridge. And 20 pounds? That's pretty cheap. Isn't that around $12 US? Or am I thinking of this backwards?

In anycase, that break looks kind of long (it goes from around the 3rd fret to the high E tuning post, right? That's gonna be a hard crack to repair...

From what I can see from those pics, won't there be a gapping big chunk taken out of the neck?

I think that's where the filler comes in.

You sir are correct (its not really a chunk tbh just some bits where it has splintered so its only a cm at most). i came home from school today and its still hanging strong and in the exact same place so its safe to say its nearly a full guitar, now all i need is the bridge piece and some strings

that's not a test of strength. You've got like... 8lbs pulling the body away from the headstock, when you put on strings, you'll have hundreds of pounds pull the headstock forward.

if it doesn't hold, all you have to do is steam the glue out that you've used thus far and reset it. Also, did you use any dowels to strengthen the joint?

You did a great job with that repair, man. I hope it holds up, I'd trade a broken phone for a guitar any day of the week.
