Look for a used amp.
Go on craigslist. Good luck finding a good tube head, most i've seen used go for about 600 and up.

Used classic 30 with a bad monkey overdrive if you can.

If not go for a peavey valveking with a BM overdrive pedal.

does it have to be tube, because if your into metal might as well pick up a Line 6 flextone.

Blackstar HT-5. But you gotta find a cab.
I'm putting my GAS on hold
for a couple months in order to pimp my ride.

Don't judge me.

i dont know if hes really in tube budget. i say either get a modeling amp (maybe used flextone or new vypyr 30 + sanpera 1), or look out for a used ampeg VH-140C
periphery/bulb!

gear:
Ibanez RG7321 w/ D-sonic in bridge

Peavey 5150 mk ii & b52 4x12 cab

line 6 podxt for recording

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

It dosen't need to be a tube amp and god please not a HEAD.
He'd prefer one but a SS would do it too.

Thanks.
