Pretty Little Ditty by The Red Hot Chili Peppers has a kind of sweepish bridge/outro. Maybe it's not sweeping, but it's the closest thing I could think of.

Necrophagist...

Necrophagist has some fast tapping lines, but no legitimate bass sweeping.

Wait.. What song has bass sweeping..

I know only of one part in one song, and that is one way, down the neck
(instead of up) (on Goddess Bound)
Lord Gold feeds from your orifices and he wants to see you sweat.
Lord Gold probes you publicly and makes your pussy wet.
Now say his name.....

Nevertheless, tis done.

The Ancient Covenant by The Faceless has a bass sweeping intro. It's awsome.

It's tapping.

Well Extreme Unction's 1 second bass intro seems sweepy to me. But you win this time...

Anyway, I think Juan Alderate is known for doing some sweeps. Scarified is an obvious example.

Not swept. Juan fingerpicks or taps it all.

Alternate sweep? (But then does it even get to be considered sweeping?)

I'm not sure if it would hold up the same with bass, but some of the best guitar sweepers I know alternate-sweep (instead of just downpicking the entire sweep)

That's just playing pattern moving up and down the strings. Sweeping is when you, well, sweep.

As far as I know, the full-on Racer X version of Scarified does have sweeping sections on it. At least it sounds that way to me.

I did some sweeping for sh*t 'n' giggles on my track 'Saturday Nite A+E Fun', which is on my pro. About a minute in there's a couple of swept chord runs (D# Dim- based then Aug-based if I remember rightly).
I'm working on a track with a fair bit more sweeping in it at the mo', but it's proving difficult to get it to sit well with a worthwhile guitar part. This is probably the obvious problem; but do try it. It's worth the effort of practice to see the look on the average guitarists' face when you casually drop it in...
