Hey guys, i have a Peavy 14 input usb mixer and two yamaha 10" speakers which are passive.

am i right i thinking im going to need a power amp? i believe the speakers are 250 watts each with a peak of 500.

how big of a power amp will i need? and is there anything else i need to get?

Try to select a power amp that has a maximum wattage rating under your speakers! This should help ensure you don't blow them by applying too much power. A 100W Stereo would be safe and you might get away with 200W stereo but be sure to never drive it near maximum with your mixer.
