Saw it a while ago, let out a resounding "Meh". This is par for Gibby's course. They haven't done anything right bass-wise since the original Grabber and Ripper.

I've got a kind of Grabber related question now that I think of it.

Could you move the bridge down to the bottom of the body and make it somewhat long scale?

it's a 34.5" scale as it is, that's already half an inch longer than standard

Hah, iduno, make it 35".

Yeah, I wasn't sure exactly how it worked and thought the grabber would be a good question on it (because there is obvious room to just move down the bridge, if that would do much to anything).

Why can't gibson just reintroduce the G3, Grabber, and the Ripper as part of their production line with like a price tag of about $1100. Then alot of people people might actually buy them.

yes but they take the guitar as a serious instrument, it's beyond the point that they can't put together a good one. they still after over 50 years take bass as a mere novelty instrument and think that bassists should still be lugging round a 6ft tall upright. If they took bass seriously they might go as far as to design a bass instead of taking a guitar and stretching the neck

A passive one pick-up guitar, what would you expect it to have?

I agree, most Fenders have one tone knob, and they don't do bad at all.

Well... Most basses have one tone knob. Not to mention the bass only has one pick up.
