i'm in the market for a solid, reliable pedal board. i've been looking at skb's, but the pedal trains also caught my eye. feedback would be appreciated on these, or if you have any other suggestions, i'd love to hear them.
Also, I'm not interested in building one!

Look somewhere else...

On topic - have you considered building one?
Do you feel warm within your cage?

And have you figured out yet -

I own a pedal train board and it's great. Very sturdy. The case isn't the best though, but if your easy on your gear you won't have problems with it.

although i can tell you're going for a good analogy, shermans weren't that thick

i have an SKB PS45 and i'm actually looking to sell it and buy a smaller one. it's built like a tank, but carrying it is terrible!

I wouldn't want to carry a tank yo.

Get something built like an AK-47. Durable and very reliable. Plus it's easy to carry.

hm.. 30 bucks + a couple hours or 150-200 bucks? I dont know. That really is a hard decision huh? Please, just build one. Oh I know. You want to stimulate the economy by buying something expensive. gotcha.

Trailer Trash has awesome boards. SKB's and pedal trains look cheap to me. Or you can cutsom build it from some sites. I forget. You give them your pedals and everything and they build it for you.
