Hey, UG bass forum...
I am thinking of cleaning house on my rig and going to a different style and/or sound. My question to all of you low-enders... What have you heard from these things and are they worth the price? The Big Cab comes with a Coaxial Celestian 15 and another standard 15 speaker, so both highs and lows are covered... but how would that stand up against 2 metal amps and a full drum set? Thanks!

The thing about the Hellborg cabs is that the whole system is meant to be used together. The Hellborg cabs don't have a lot of power for their resistance. In fact, very little. Those cabs really should be used with the Hellborg preamp and power amp. You're not really going to take advantage of them otherwise.

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..
