Hey guys, this is a bit of a different request. I am looking for a few songs that I can learn and use to practice the art of playing with strong emotion. I am thinking Pink Floyd, but any other suggestions? Thanks!
Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus w/ '60s neck
Ibanez JEM 7V
Jackson SL2H Soloist
PRS Singlecut SE
Marshall JVM410h
Marshall 1960a 4x12
Line 6 Pod x3 Live
Check out Steve Rothery (Marillion), especially his earlier stuff, as that's pretty much emotion-on-a-stick. For a (in my opinion) blinding example of a 'high emotion' solo that fits perfectly with the song as a whole, have a listen to 'Sugar Mice' (not the single version, as the solo's somewhat truncated).
Oh, now I've gone and spilled my tea. This really won't do at all.
