So my Washburn X50 PRO Trans Blue (without Floyd) ...

... is yet again delayed to late April. That makes it 2 months waiting. I decided that I could not sit home and get this torture going on any longer so I asked the seller to call the Washburn off. Instead I asked him to send me a PRS SE Custom 24...

(PRS SE Custom 24 Whale Blue)

... I dont know if I made the right choice or not. There might be a better alternatives out there, you know... Theres still time for me to change my mind.

I think you chose wisely. I miss my McCarty to this day, probably the best guitar I've ever owned.

Not to go to OT, but the PRS in that pic looks wrong to me. The pickup spacing seems awfully wide for a 25" scale, 24 fret guitar.

i would stick to the washburn :p or find an alternative rather than the PRS :P

A guitar is not a dog, your gona have it longer than life. So i would rather wait a little longer and be alot happier :p

Meh, I usually just buy them off the local shaman, unless I'm in the wilderness, where I rely on raw meat to raise my HP.

i'd get the prs, throw in a better set of pups and you'll have a real beauty, especially the whale blue, i am very jealous

I've played both, and I feel like if you get a PRS you have to do it properly (the SEs aren't terrible though)
The Washburn is an AMAZING guitar though, my friend has one, I play it all the time

Update: I canceled the PRS now :p I did a whole lots of thinking and research and decided not to. I really have something against flat top and tremolo after all...

...and now my next subject is this one

Yep, it's blue...
This time it's no going back :p

1: If you don't know if you made the right choice, it's likely you didn't.
2: You made the wrong choice. Washburn is better.

Good choice I think, I have no respect for washburn, ever since I saw this: http://guitarbitz.com/1137.htm

EDIT: Oh yeah and the PRS guitars are awesome

EDIT 2: Just read that you cancelled it, and yeah, it does kind of suck having a flat top

Never played them, but the Cort does look better than the Washburn IMO, and definitely a lot better than the PRS. The cutaways on the PRS looked horrible, really.

Seriously? So you don't care that Fender has a Hello Kitty Strat? Or have you also lost respect to another high quality company because of one thing?

So you're ordering a guitar? I would strongly suggest you play it before money changes hands. I mean, one can be rewarded handsomely by playing every inexpensive guitar they can find and narrowing them down to what they like. It's all in the wood. Grain and cuts make for very interesting delicate and drastic differences. Ask them to order 5 and take your pick.
If I wasn't me, who else would I be?

I probably won't contribute but here I go:
