I guess you did alright. The novelty of the whammy will wear off quick though. I used to always use mine for about a month after I got it, now I never use it.

i assure you, the novelty has not worn off yet.

i use this thing all the time. the Chorus is actually one of my favourite parts, but i dont use the detune because the tracking makes it sound like there's some slapback going on. i use the OCT ^/OCT V harmony setting and put it in a sweet spot, and it sounds beautiful.

also, the octave down is awesome with the autowah, for obvious reasons

Ah yes the chorus is great. I do like the octave harmony too. Tracking isnt that good though. I basically bought it because of Killing In The Name Of

the whammy is beyond SLAMMING! It's low down octaves are TUNDEROUS and BRUTAL! An teh Octave up sounds are [INSERT INDUSTRY BUZZWORD HERE].

actually, my MG was pretty good. the OD didn't soinds like a ravenous pack of bumblebees in a blender, it never broke down, and it actually sounded decent.

but i have my Egnater now, so.....

it really depends how you use it. you dont have to be tom morello to put it to good use, my bud bought it for 90 bucks and he never really ran out of uses for it in his band.
