I want to build a custom guitar and I can do it for a reasonable price but I am having troubles with the neck and body. I have absolutely no woodworking skills and the stuff at school is limited to a sander, saws and some drills.

I contacted Ormsby but he doesn't do partial builds and I can't buy online so warmoth or other sites are not an option.

What should I do?

Get someone to build it and do everything else yourself or try to do it yourself.
1. You're surfing the internet.
2. You're browsing through the UG forums.
3. You're reading now.
5. You didn't notice that there was no #4.
6. You just checked it.
7. Now you're having a lil smile.

The main problem with that is I don't know anyone that can built it and if I try do it myself then I will probably stuff up and have wasted $140 on a body blank.

If you want a custom, and you want it done really well, look at Suhr's website.

I was quoted $2600 from Ormsby and $1200 US from LP addict (after shipping and everything will prob be about the same as Ormsby price)
