I have an Ibanez GRX40 and was wondering how a Dimarzio DP193 Air Norton in the
bridge, and a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the neck would sound?
The setup of the guitar is S/S/H

Pretty badass, but I would normally recommend the combo the other way around, as the Air Norton is an amazing neck pickup, and the TZ is an amazing bridge pickup. But hey, Michael Romeo uses a TZ in neck
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

Originally the Norton (the pickups that the Air Norton is based off of) was made to be a bridge pickup, but when it was tried in the neck, amazing results were found, and so it has become one of DiMarzio's most popular neck pickups (besides the PAF Pro)

I'm currently re-fretting a Hello Kitty strat for a friend who has an Air Norton in it's bridge, and it sounds great. It cranks out some really cool, organic, and articulate lead tones.
