what should i get ?
i was think of adobe auditon but any suggestions are welcome.

I use Digital Performer 6, I'd highly recommend it.
You're using UG classic, congratulations.
You should be using UG classic.

Logic, Nuendo, Cubase etc. Pro Tools is standard if you can afford the rack hardware to go with it, which I'm guessing you won't be able to, otherwise it's nothing special.

Pro tools LE, you need an Mbox to get it to work though but mboxes come with pro tools. Comes with the plugins you need too
