The only pedal I have is a Sansamp VT Bass, looking to sell off my guitar amps and buy a nice chorus or flanger pedal, I want something to get me close to Ben Kenney's tone on Drive at Red Rocks

I don't own all of these anymore, but pedals I have owned and believe to rock are: Boss OD2, Jim Dunlop Cry Baby Wah, Boss DD6, Digitech Whammy 2 (I believe the 4 is just a light-weight version of it), and I also use the built-in flange, chorus, reverb and delay sounds on my amps.

I run my guitar straight into an boss eq, then jimi hendrix wah, boss sd-1 overdrive, rocktron nitro booster, danelectro fab chorus, boss dd-3 delay, electro harmonix holy grail reverb, and then i go to my peavey windsor set on a somewhat clean setting. I might add my danelectro phaser after my chorus soon, and im also going to buy the korg pitchblack tuner soon. I've been running a roctron hush noise gate pedal thru my effects loop in my windsor but it sucks more tone that I like so i might take it out.

I also have a nice wad of cash from my 18th, and I want to get something nice with a bit of that. I did consider the Visual Sounds H2O. Sounded fine on my first try, but most of the reviews I have read from people that seem to have a clue about chorus and echo seem to say it is ok at best.

Need moar toys.

How are you liking that VT bass? I've been wanting to try it out, I mostly like the clips I've heard, but all demos on youtube have WAY too much treble. Is it a really trebly pedal? Versatility? Thanks.

I have a Digitech Multi-Voice Bass Chorus, Digitech Bass Driver, and Dunlop 105Q bass wah. I use all three quite often with my band. But I've been thinking about trying out some other effects. Thinking about getting a sub octaver of some kinda, maybe an envelope filter.
#20
i use a korg pitchblack which is probably the best tuner i've ever used, i wouldn't trust a tuner without korg written on it. and a EHX bass blogger fuzz which is just bollocks, it's too tame, too scooped and too completely useless for the above reasons

Pretty simple right now...Ibanez PD-7, Boss CEB-3, and occasionally a Dano Tuna Melt Tremolo.

edit: I've made liberal use of a friend's Digitech GNX3000 as well. It's a heck of a unit, sounds good, and is quite a bit more useful than the GNX4 doe to the presence of a USB interface.
Nope, no sig here.

Digitech BP80

It's got some nice cleans on there, but I'm gonna get a distortion pedal soon, as the ones on the pedal are too muddy for when I play fast. I think I'll be getting a Big Muff, but I'll have to try some out when I get the pedal, and see which one sounds best.

Yeah all the youtube videos I've seen are either full gain or completely scooped mids.

It's a great pedal, and I admit that I'm still to find settings that I REALLY like, I found a couple that sound awesome, but you know how it is when they sound great in your bedroom, you get to band practice, plug in and it just sounds real mushy?

So yeah I need to find some more settings that are usable in a band setting.

I'm stuck on wether to get a korg pitchblack or some sort of chorus/flanger. I'm trying to sell off my guitar ampsmy guitar sounds awesome through my bass rig, and seeing as my guitar amps are a 30w MG and a 10w practice amp they never really get much use), so I'm gonna try and get down to Hartnoll's in plymouth maybe next weekend to try out some stuff.

While it is very stereotyped, it is a good effect for a great price and I thought it was more versatile than the El grande Fuzz I tried
