OK first question
If I replace the 16ohm speaker with an 8ohm one in my valve junior cab i won't **** up the internal circuit of the cab?
second any speaker recommendations?
I'm looking at a warehouse veteran 30, I'm going to be using that cab with my valve junior and my crate v33 (I'm going to mod it to soldano slo specs).
I shooting for a tone from any where from zepp to def lepard to megadeth.

there's no circuit in a cab. as long as there's an 8ohm jack on the back of the head you'll be hooking up to the cab you won't have any problems.

you can add and change as many speakers as you want..
just the inpedidance (ohms) of the circuit must add up..
you can add two 8ohm speakers in series and their will be no problem..
but don't expect it to be much louder.

any electronics tecnitian can easily do the math and install this for you

Like others have said, just make sure the ohm load matches with what the speaker jack on the amp says.

Also remember, if you're using multiple speakers at all, series = add the ohm load of each speaker, and parallel = divide the ohms of each speaker. (For example, two 8 ohm speakers in series = 16 ohms, and the same speakers wired in parallel = 4 ohms)

Yep, use the 16 ohm output.

...............................you know that if you plug 16 ohm load to 8ohm speaker your amp blows right?

Sorry I meant use the 8 ohm output. The Epi Vjr has 4,8,&16 ohm outputs. Just use the one that matches the speaker.

8 ohm load into a 16 cab will be fine. you'll just suffer from a drop in volume.

I'm fine valve junior wise it's the v33 that needs the 8ohm speaker.
