hey.

im thinking of buying a Tascam fw 1082 to record. i found out that buying from america including shippin would be alot cheaper then buying in the UK. but is their any difference in voltage, wattage etc? i know ill need an adaptor cause i think america is 2 plug whereas uk has 3. but apart from that would it be ok? i dont want to spend all this money on something plug it in and it blows up.

Yeah, America uses 110V, while the UK uses 230/240V, so you'll need a transformer.
