I have a Jackson rhoads and it came with the Jackson stock pickups, it feedback's extremely. I heard somewhere that sticking foam into the pickup hole around the pickup helps eliminate this problem? is this true?????

It's true, but it's mainly for high volume situations.
Your better off with a noise gate.

Well i do gig with this guitar at high volumes, and a noise gate still doesnt stop the feedback, and there is just a certain point i can turn the gate to without cutting out the sound! should i place the foam all around the pickup or just where the screws on each side would be?

Have you tried potting your pickups?

There's a wax pot tut on here, search bar it.
