I'm interested in purchasing a USB mic at the moment to record vocals, acoustic and electric guitar and would like some opinions. I'm not looking to spend too much and would prefer a USB interface microphone for now. I currently have a Plantronics DSP-400 which isn't intended for anything other than VoIP conversations or gaming. However, it's great for recording vocals and acoustic guitar but terrible with amps no matter what the setting.

I'm considering either the CAD U37 USB Condenser Microphone or the MXL 990 USB Powered Condenser Microphone. Does anyone here have experience with either model or something else below $150?

Thanks.
