So I just found out that not only does it not rhyme with betrayed, prayed, or strayed, but it sounds ****ing poncy. I now have to rewrite half a song.

Discuss.

"fiss ad "...?

were you pronounceing it like lemonade?

if so, you can just replace it with "charade" or "masquerade" ?

I was pronouncing it as farkaid. It sounds much better that way.

Well, I don't have a silver spoon in my ass so I'm going to continue to pronounce it fass-aid.

I can't even afford a wooden spoon, so I just use random sticks and twigs

It's Fa-Sahd... any other way is wrong.

Just say you were inspired by hip-hop artists, they make up words and pronounciations all the time because they can't think of real words

That's facetious. But guys, in a song you can have a bit of poetic license. Rhyme it with coolaid and you're home and errrrr dry? But don't try rhyming it with laid or you'll end up with lard. This is not good. I'm old. I know about these things.

Just because adding '-izzle' can make any words you want rhyme with each other doesnt make it less creative...does it?

Right a song about how the bourgousie have repressed the proletariat by adopting foreign words into English because it's their way of grinding the faces of the masses into the filth of their own opulence!
