I opened my computer the other day and there was a program installed that I don't remember installing called VLC Media Player. I removed it using Windows Uninstall Wizard and it removed it. But the shortcut on my homepage still has the icon for it. If I go to try and delte the icon it says please verify the location. I can't verify the location because it's not on the disk anymore. When I check properties of it, it says it's taking up 0 bytes of the disk space. My computer is running Vista (Don't say that's the problem, it works fine.) and I've been able to uninstall things fine before. Please help.
Also, my computer has two hard disks, one is the regular disk and one is a backup disk, I don't know if that has anything to do with this.

Pretty sure you can get banned for suggesting that.

Try refreshing the desktop, as usual, by pressing F5. Sometimes it can't delete things on the desktop after something's been removed or uninstalled.
